The place is great for halal foods with a taste of Malaysian cuisine.. I stayed in Myeongdong for 6 days and I went and eat at Kampungku every single day. 100% recommended.
Super nice service! The owner shares his stories of the trips he took. It was a good option to get a halal version of Korean food - my friend struggled a bit to find some. Definitely worth a visit
One of the many halal places around this area so it should not be the only choice. The food is good especially if one is yearning for Malaysia food. Milo isn't so great though. There is a solat place upstairs and if you are around during lunch time, a combined splat means a whole day of exploring.
tried this place after visiting several places before. we tried the original fried chicken & Korean sauce fried chicken. the taste is so-so, you can still feel the layer of flour covering the chicken. the sauce is too sweet for other Korean menus, the taste is still quite good. fast and friendly service..
Such a great find! The food was amazing — a perfect blend of Malay, Indonesian, and Korean flavours, all halal. Everything we tried was full of flavour and really satisfying. The service was quick and friendly, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The place also has a lovely vibe — cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend to friends!
I came here for their fried chicken and I would highly recommend their fried chicken. Got their half and half option and would say the marinated one has my vote. But the original one was tasty too. There's a lot of options on the menu and their nasi kampung (fried rice) seems very popular too. There's seating downstairs and upstairs as well which is less busy. And it's very easy to order as there's a touchscreen on each table.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes. We came here because they have halal options and tried some halal Korean food. Thanks to the friendly staff and delicious flavors, we left very satisfied. Thank you!”
This was my first meal after arriving in Seoul, Service was fast and friendly, with no wait time at all. I ordered the bulgogi with rice and japchae. Both dishes were a little on the salty side, but overall tasty and satisfying. A solid spot if you’re looking for a quick and decent meal
